Here's some examples of the geniuses i'm going to school with this summer.

1) The professor is trying to explain how to get a percentage of heating reduction or some crap like that. He says, "So you have two of something. if you go from two to four, you've increased 100%, right? So if you go from two to six, what do you get?"

Silence. Crickets chirping. one guy goes, "400%?"

I said, "Are you talking about the percentage of two? Then 200%." I did this in my head, without a calculator. The girl next to me turns to me and looks at me in awe, whispering, "How did you do that?"


2) During our daily break, this guy goes up to the professor and says he missed the test yesterday, and wants to know if he can make it up. The professor asks why he missed it--was he sick, death in the family? The guy's like, "Oh no. I was just having a bad week." The professor inquires as to whether this guy has a copy of the syllabus with the schedule of tests. This asshat just goes "ohhhhhh...i didn't think to look at that."

3) The professor was explaining an activity we were doing, and one girl was playing with a yo-yo.

Let me state that again, because it bears repeating: and ADULT young woman was PLAYING with a PURPLE YO-YO in the MIDDLE OF CLASS.

Let that sink in, and you'll understand the pain I go through.
